About Us

The Battle Back Foundation is overseen by an expert panel of men and women with direct experience in the needs of assisting first responders through traumatic events and mental wellness.

Our panel includes physicians, thought-leaders, business executives, police officers, and spouses of police officers.

In these modern times, police officers dealing with mental health and PTSD issues are all too commonplace.

Horrific and tragic events are occurring at alarming rates all over the world. And, unfortunately, they are often hitting close to home.

  • What do we do when these incidents happen in our own towns and cities?

  • Where do police officers turn for answers or assistance?

  • After the initial shock calms down, what then?

There are multiple beneficial foundations that focus on our police officers after they pass away with financial and funeral expenses for their loved ones. The issue is we need to also provide focus on those that serve each and every day.

The Battle Back Foundation provide the much needed resources and connections to reduce the alarming statistics of police suicide.

Those involved in the Battle Back Foundation have directly been impacted or know someone that has been impacted by mental health issues. This foundation was born out of the need for a tool and resources for police officers and their immediate families. The foundation will provide the much needed focus on serving those that serve us.

Mindset Education

Mindset shifting can reduce depression, anxiety, and other types of mental illness. The Battle Back Foundation has teamed up with some of the world’s best thought leaders to develop an educational approach to mindset and overcoming negativity. This resource will be provided by the foundation to assist those that suffer.

Clinical Resources

The foundation has partnered with world renowned physicians, clinical psychologists and psychiatrists, as well as social workers to assist with police officers’ mental health. Along with this Mark Cuban’s Cost Plus Drugs company has agreed to partner with ‘Battle Back’ and assist with the RX resources needed to accomplish this goal.

Financial Resources

The foundation will cover the costs associated with further treatments police officers may need for medical expenses, prescriptions, or wellness retreats. In addition the foundation will offer much needed assistance to the families of those that have died by suicide or in the line of duty.

Community

The foundation will form a network of community members that have experienced similar mental health challenges. Connecting with community members and special events can help dissolve the stigma that seeking treatment is “weak”. Mental health and wellbeing should be as much of a priority as physical health.

We are here to help police officers struggling with mental wellness, those affected by a police officers suicide or line of duty death in a fourfold manner:
